Ah, April 1st. Fools day. So today is when we're supposed to pull pranks on each other. Alright, so how did this start? Well according to this, it started when the Gregorian calendar was introduced and New Year's Day was moved from April 1st to January 1st. Well a lot of people didn't get the memo back then so many kept on celebrating on April 1st. Also, there were some stubborn bastards who refused to change. Either way, the ones still celebrating in April were called fools and they'd get fucked with, like sending them invitations to New Year's parties which of course weren't happening.
The French put a bit of a spin on it by calling those fools fish, as in easily caught or gullible. The way they prank is they sneak a fish tag on someone's back, let them walk around unknowingly, and then once they figure it out or have it pointed out to them, you laugh at them.
Gosh, what does that bring to mind? Hmmm, fools with fish on their backs? Gosh, it's coming to me. Wait, don't tell me... oh yes, right, THESE fools:
Kind of takes the fun out of it if they put the tags on themselves, no? And come on, all year round? They just are terrible at comedy. But hey, much like the top image, they are fools all year round so maybe they're right after all. Still, I prefer the clown makeup over the fishes.

At last, someone has the courage to post an unretouched photo of ol' Fish-Face himself.
I take it you don't like the way Fish Face looks sans makeup, Ex? I was thinking he looks sort of cute and lovable.
Hmmmm ---- maybe not so much.
The Hillary gag was actually more work than Fish Face's makeover.
Ah, you're good for a laugh. Thanks for that funny one!
